Job Description :
Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced and skilled Ultrasound Technologist with a strong background in Breast Ultrasound for a 13wk contract position in The Woodlands, TX. Key Responsibilities :
Perform high-quality breast ultrasound exams for diagnostic purposes.
Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure proper image quality for interpretation.
Assist physicians with procedures related to ultrasound exams.
Maintain patient records and ensure the documentation is complete and accurate.
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care.
Follow all safety protocols and departmental procedures.
Maintain and sterilize equipment as required.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Certified Ultrasound Technologist .
Valid Texas state license for Ultrasound Technology.
Strong Breast Ultrasound experience and proficiency. ARDMS certification in Breast Ultrasound is preferred (or equivalent experience).
Proof of Vaccines via Titers (MMR, Varicella, & Hep B)
Current : TDAP, TB Skin Test and Seasonal Flu
BLS - AHA only
Ability to pass a Criminal Background check and Drug screen
