Qualifications
2-5 years of LPN/LVN experience in hospice, home health, or long-term care
As a Hospice LPN/LVN, you will provide hands-on bedside nursing and emotional support to terminally ill patients in the comfort of their homes. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you'll follow a detailed plan of care and work as a vital part of the interdisciplinary team.

- Prior per diem or travel nurse experience through a staffing agency - Required
- Proficient with paper charting
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
- Valid Florida or Compact LPN/LVN license
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Bilingual is a plus, but not required
As a Hospice LPN/LVN, you will provide hands-on bedside nursing and emotional support to terminally ill patients in the comfort of their homes. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you'll follow a detailed plan of care and work as a vital part of the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities Include
- Delivering skilled, compassionate bedside care
- Monitoring and reporting patient status to the RN and care team
- Practicing infection control and safety protocols
- Completing accurate documentation through paper charting
- Supporting patients and families through critical transitions
- Participating in scheduled and on-call visits
- Assisting with death pronouncements as allowed by state law
- Providing guidance to Hospice Aides as appropriate
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Active LPN/LVN license in FL or Compact state
- Current BLS (AHA required)
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
