Roles And Responsibilities
- Assessing and monitoring wounds
- Cleaning and bandaging wounds
- Educating patients and caretakers
- Writing orders to expedite wound healing
- Collaborating with other members of the patient care team
- Advocating for patients
- Serving as a wellness educator
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant/Nursing Studies is required
- Minimum 1-2 years of Wound Care experience is required
- Valid Driver's license is required
- Active State VA License as Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner
- Board Certification (ARNP, PA-C, PANCE, AANP, or equivalent) required
