With ProTouch Staffing, you have the opportunity to work as an Ophthalmology Physician in a dynamic and rewarding environment. As an Optometrist, your primary responsibility will be to examine eyes, using observation, instruments and pharmaceutical agents, to determine visual acuity and perception, focus and coordination and to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities such as glaucoma or color blindness.
We are seeking a qualified candidate who can perform vision tests, analyze results and develop a treatment plan. The ideal candidate should possess a Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited school of optometry and licensure as an Optometrist in the state of Alaska.
The successful candidate will provide pre- and postoperative care to patients undergoing eye surgery, evaluate patients for the presence of diseases such as diabetes and refer patients to other healthcare providers as needed.
