Job Posting : Payroll Clerk
Position Details :
Location : Houston, TX 77024
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM
Pay Rate : $22.00 an hour
Requirements :
Experience : Minimum of 2 years in payroll or a related field.
Education : Must provide official transcripts.
Health Requirements : Up-to-date Flu vaccination and TB test results.
Resume : Current and updated.
Job Responsibilities :
Accurate Payroll Processing : Ensure timely and accurate payroll payments and corrections in adherence to company policies, state, and federal regulations.
Biweekly Supplemental Payroll : Execute the biweekly supplemental payroll cycle and calculate retroactive payments for employees on an alternating basis.
Time and Attendance Monitoring : Oversee the time and attendance system during pay period closures, assist timekeepers and approvers in understanding pay rules, and troubleshoot time card issues as needed.
Customer Service : Provide payroll-related customer service to employees and third parties, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Backup Support : Act as a backup for other Payroll Associates handling different facilities or business units.
Additional Duties : Perform other payroll-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the department.
Skills and Competencies :
Strong knowledge of payroll systems and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in timekeeping and attendance systems.
