Are you a passionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist looking for the flexibility of PRN shifts? Join Protouch Staffing and deliver exceptional respiratory care across a variety of settings. As a PRN CRT or RRT, you will perform respiratory procedures under physician direction, contribute to patient assessments and care plans, and collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care and outcomes for patients.

Shifts: 12-hour (6:30a-7p or 6:30p-7a) Pay: $40 (days) & $42 (nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care procedures under physician direction in all patient areas, including general, acute, critical care, and emergency settings.
• Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and regularly evaluate/revise therapy plans as necessary.
• Deliver therapeutic respiratory modalities, including medication delivery, ventilation management, expansion therapy, and bronchial hygiene.
• Perform diagnostic testing such as ABGs, PFTs, EKGs, cardiac assessments, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry.
• Assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care, including airway maintenance and management, cardiac support, and other assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the most effective and efficient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Utilize your knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity to provide compassionate and comprehensive care.

Qualifications

The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed:

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (e.g., CoARC, JRCRTE, CAAHEP)
• Current CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) credential by N.B.R.C.
• Active State Respiratory Therapist Licensure (RLT) in the applicable state of employment
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
• Required on-boarding Credentials: Immunization /Titers (MMR, Varicella, HepB), TDAP, Flu vaccine, TB Skin Test or Chest xray.
