Responsibilities
- Interviewing the participant and caregiver to obtain a social assessment and evaluation of needs and problems.
- Providing or arranging for individual, family and group counselling in reference to psychological, social, financial, legal, vocational, and educational needs of the participant.
- Assisting with obtaining concrete services; for example, housing, shopping, clothing.
- Referring to and/or developing support groups and educational programs for caregivers and participants.
- Arranging and/or providing crisis intervention.
- Providing family outreach.
- Bachelor's (Required)
- Must be licensed or certified by the New Jersey State Board of Social Work Examiners (CSW/LSW)
- Adult Day Care 1 year experience (Preferred)
