As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) with us, you will play a crucial role in delivering expert healthcare services and improving patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Medication Reminders: Ensure patients take their medications as prescribed.
- Mobility Support: Assist residents in moving around, including transferring in and out of bed or chairs, and support with exercises to help improve mobility.
- Meal Preparation and Feeding: Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and ensure proper nutrition.
- Hygiene Assistance: Help residents with various activities such as bathing, grooming, and maintaining personal hygiene.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support, as well as participate in activities in order to enhance the well-being of the patients.
- Transportation: Accompany residents to their appointments, run errands, and assist with community engagement activities.
Qualifications:
- Active PCA Certification in the state of New York (required).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
