Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Supervisor to lead our nursing team in providing high-quality patient care. Duties
- Oversee daily nursing operations, ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care.
- Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate patient care activities, including gastric lavage procedures and infection control measures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans for patients with developmental disabilities.
- Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff on sonography techniques and other relevant skills.
- Ensure that all nursing practices comply with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices and pediatrics.
- Familiarity with gastric lavage procedures and infection control protocols.
- Proficient in ICD-10 coding and documentation standards.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is an asset.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
