Job Overview: As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager with day-to-day operations, team management, guest service, and maintaining a positive work environment. You must be hands-on, flexible, and ready to assist wherever needed to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and restaurant activities
- Manage and train staff, helping to develop team members and ensure excellent service
- Assist with budgeting, inventory management, and cost control
- Monitor service quality, cleanliness, and overall guest experience
- Help resolve customer concerns and ensure a positive dining experience
- Step in as the lead when the General Manager is unavailable, ensuring operations run smoothly
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, and maintaining efficient workflows
- Collaborate with the General Manager to maintain a positive, team-oriented atmosphere
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in hospitality management or supervisory roles, preferably in a restaurant environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, financials, and best practices
- A hands-on attitude and willingness to assist with all aspects of restaurant operations
