Analyst / Senior Analyst of Asset Based Lending

PROVE funds episodic portfolio purchases as well as forward flow funding structures to medical providers of all modalities nationwide that treat personal injury patients and prefer upfront reimbursement vs. holding the receivables to maturity.
  • (ii) Single Event Medical Funding: PROVE serves as an extension to personal injury law firms, helping ensure patients have a successful medical legal outcome. PROVE’s Case Managers and Care Coordinators work closely with law firm paralegals and case managers to help coordinate treatment with quality medical providers adept at treating patients involved in personal injury accidents. PROVE is a payor source for medical providers, acquiring medical receivables and holding them through to resolution of the personal injury victim’s legal matter.
  • (iii) Legal Funding: PROVE provides financing solutions to law firms, primarily lines of credit and non-recourse litigation cost advances, as well as pre-settlement advances for plaintiff’s to pay for living expenses while their negligence cases are being adjudicated.

• As an Analyst / Senior Analyst of Asset Based Lending, you will:
  • Support all stages of the transaction lifecycle, from sourcing new investment prospects to finalizing definitive agreements
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and institutional capital partners
  • Perform data analysis, model cash flows, and carry out various ad hoc technical assessments
  • Engage in asset and transaction underwriting and due diligence, including related to valuation, legal, regulatory, servicing, post-closing asset management, and treasury
  • Draft comprehensive investment memoranda for CEO review and transaction approval
  • Orchestrate efforts between departments to ensure a seamless client experience from deal sourcing to post-closing support
  • Track investment performance and offer post-closing support, including assistance with go-forward fundings, periodic re-underwrites and audits, and deal amendments as necessary
  • Support the enhancement of PROVE’s processes and the upgrade of technology tools to optimize deal execution, while strengthening PROVE’s portfolio oversight and risk management capabilities
• You will periodically visit clients and attend regularly scheduled meetings
• This key position reports to the Head of Asset Based Lending.

• Sourcing
  • Assist PROVE’s sales team and brokers to convert referral sources into closed deals, including hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, outpatient diagnostic centers, private physician practices, chiropractic and physical therapy practices, durable medical equipment providers, lien-based pharmacies, toxicology labs, and other healthcare providers serving personal injury patients
  • Produce reports and materials needed for prospective clients
• Deal Execution & Underwriting
  • Manage and evaluate a pipeline of new deal opportunities
  • Conduct financial due diligence, including analysis of accounts receivable portfolio concentration, static pools, collection curves, and financial forecasts
  • Assist in corporate and guarantor due diligence efforts
  • Draft term sheets and proposals that reflect a range of transaction structures, including both lending and purchase agreements, with upside sharing and promote structures
  • Prepare investment committee memos for transaction approval
  • Negotiate legal documentation, such as credit agreements, term sheets, and servicing contracts
  • Facilitate the boarding of assets, ensuring smooth funding and treasury operations post-closing
• Portfolio Management
  • Monitor portfolio performance and covenant compliance
  • Oversee risk management and exposure management strategies to strengthen the portfolio
• Relationship Management
  • Establish and cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients, brokers, and institutional capital partners, to drive continued growth and partnership opportunities

• 1-2 years (Analyst) / 3 years (Senior Analyst) of direct experience in structuring, underwriting, and executing financial transactions, preferably within asset-based finance at an investment bank, hedge fund, asset manager, or similar financial institution
• Must be enthusiastic about taking on a hands-on role in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
• Strong quantitative, financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience in reviewing and negotiating financing structures and associated legal agreements
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce or PowerBI a plus
• Bachelor's degree required
