Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and an understanding of medical terminology, as well as the ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities or dementia.
Duties
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Monitor and document patient health status, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Help clients with mobility and physical exercises as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Assist with catheter care and other medical needs as required.
- Support clients in daily activities, fostering independence while providing necessary assistance.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
Experience
- Previous experience in assisted living or home care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic healthcare practices is beneficial.
- Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or dementia is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients are essential.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
