Furniture Installer

PROVEN Management, LLC headquartered in Washington DC is seeking a team lead for furniture installation and moving services. An ideal candidate will knowledgeable with how to perform office moving, proficient in installation of office furniture, ability to read and interrupt blueprints and proficient in Microsoft office and ability to plan and prioritize. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for installation of furniture at client sites.
• Addressing operational concerns and issues, monitoring overall customer satisfaction.
• Communicates throughout the day to PROVEN HQ and clients on proact status.
• Delivers product to include loading/unloading trucks
• Ability to read and understand space plans, blueprints, elevations and architectural/furniture symbol
• Understands basic systems furniture electrical component installation
• Maintains effective customer service for all internal and external customers always.
• Be capable of loading, unloading, and moving heavy bulky furniture and equipment or expensive, delicate computer equipment using proper techniques.
• Utilize knowledge of standard practices of furniture and equipment, pull and stage equipment for shipment to various sites, package equipment for shipment and prepare the necessary paperwork.· Supervise PROVEN’s project team in following the same behavior.
• Provide career guidance and development for team members
• Contribute to the "skill" development of other team members.
• Motivate the team by demonstrating how their contributions effect project outcome.
• Participate in new employee orientation and training, including setting up hiring "buddy" and setting up shadowing opportunities.
• Collaborates with transitions and onboarding team as needed.
• Be mobile and move between buildings/work areas without assistance.
• Work on hard surfaces and in work areas that require standing, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
• Readily complete all duties as assigned.
• Be able to pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and Department of Motor Vehicle
• Able to operate in a professional manner at all times
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Microsoft Excel: 3 years (Required)

• Commercial furniture installation and office moving: 10 years (Required)
• Project leadership: 7 years (Required)
