What you will do:
- Train and supervise all histology personnel (up to 4 people).
- Extensive SOP drafting experience, to include all aspects of standard histopathology
- Essential member of cross-functional team to interface with IT
- Establish internal histology services.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in scientific discipline.
- Certification desired but not required: HT (ASCP) or HTL (ASCP)
- At least 2 years of experience as a histotechnician or histotechnologist sectioning paraffin-embedded tissues
- Seeking ideally 1 year of supervising histology operations and people management
- Expertise with rapidly cutting and mounting high quality tissue sections from a variety of tissue types including needle biopsies to support oncology.
