What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector 2nd Shift position at Provenance Staffing?
Provenance Recruitment & Staffing is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a die casting manufacturing company located in Liberty, SC.
You will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Currently 2nd shift positions are available.
Pay rate
$15.00/hr. Monday-Friday 7am-3pm (some Saturdays)
$15.00/hr. Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm (some Saturdays)
$16.00/hr. Monday-Friday 11pm-7am (some Saturdays)
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
- Use of measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers and gauges etc.
- Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
- Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
- Participate in routine visual inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- 5 years manufacturing experience
- Previous work experience in quality control preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
