Job Title: Lead Fullstack Developer with Cloud experience

Location: Dallas, TX ( Hybrid )

Job Type: Full-Time / Contract

Experience Required: 6 years in Software Development (3 years in Leadership and Cloud)

Position Overview:

As the Lead Fullstack Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end development of our applications, from front-end to back-end, while ensuring that the solutions are cloud-native and scalable. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust systems, architect scalable solutions, and guide the technical direction of the projects. Your expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud will be crucial to optimizing deployments, performance, and scalability in a cloud-first environment.

This is a leadership role where you’ll take ownership of projects and mentor a team of talented engineers. You’ll have the opportunity to influence the technical direction and best practices while delivering high-quality software solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Application Development: Design and develop front-end (React, Angular) and back-end (Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, Python) components, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Cloud Architecture: Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to architect and deploy cloud-native applications. Implement solutions like microservices, serverless architectures, and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Technical Leadership: Lead a team of fullstack developers, providing mentorship, conducting code reviews, and ensuring high standards of quality and best practices.
• Cloud Optimization: Optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and reliability. Ensure that applications are designed to scale seamlessly in the cloud.
• API Development: Design and develop RESTful APIs, integrating both front-end and back-end services. Ensure secure and efficient data flow between systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Architectural Decisions: Make key architectural decisions regarding the design, implementation, and deployment of web applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Agile Methodologies: Lead the team through Agile processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software while adapting to evolving business needs.
• Mentorship & Team Growth: Foster a collaborative environment by mentoring junior developers, providing constructive feedback, and helping them grow professionally.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay on top of emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously improving systems, tools, and processes.

Required Qualifications:

• 6 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on both front-end and back-end technologies.
• 3 years of experience in a leadership or technical lead role, guiding teams through complex projects.
• Strong experience with React or Angular for front-end development, and proficiency with back-end technologies such as Java (Spring Boot), Node.js, or Python.
• Expertise in developing RESTful APIs and integrating back-end services.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for architecting and deploying cloud-native applications.
• Experience with serverless architectures, containers (Docker), and Kubernetes for application orchestration.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and its application in cloud environments.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong experience with Git and version control systems.
• Solid understanding of web application security best practices.
• Proven experience in Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GraphQL and/or other API technologies.
• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Experience with monitoring and logging in cloud environments (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ELK Stack).
• Understanding of event-driven architecture and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
• Experience with performance optimization in cloud environments.
• Contributions to open-source projects or active involvement in tech communities.
