Process Server - Illinois

Job Title: Experienced Process Servers Needed in Bureau County

Location: Bureau County, Illinois
Compensation: $50-$60 per completed job
Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Each year, we handle thousands of documents across various legal areas, including foreclosures, collections, and civil complaints.

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced, self-motivated individuals to join our team as Private Process Servers in Bureau County. This is an independent contractor position, offering flexibility and the ability to set your own schedule within our guidelines. You will work independently, driving your own vehicle, while receiving all necessary tools and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve legal documents and update status through our mobile apps (PVLS Mobile & PSO Mobile).

• Capture GPS photos and log service attempts using our proprietary mobile technology.

• Complete five to eight service attempts per job (depending on job type) across various times of day, including weekends.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong organizational skills to plan efficient routes.

• The ability to build positive rapport with recipients for successful interactions.

Additional Details:

• Compensation is paid per completed job, regardless of outcome (whether documents are served or not).

• Cases must be attempted at least every 72 hours, with completed worksheets scanned and submitted daily.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid PERC card and prior experience in process serving.

• Commitment to honesty, accuracy, and professionalism.

• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance.

• Availability to work variable hours, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

• Comfortable using mobile apps (all tasks are completed through our proprietary app).

• Access to a computer, printer, and scanner.

• Residence within or near Bureau County is preferred.
