Industrial Painter
Reports to: Finishing Supervisor
Facility: Strasburg
Hours: Monday-Friday, 5:00AM-1:30PM
Summary
This position will be responsible for utilizing a sprayer to paint parts for the vinyl window line. Candidate must uphold and represent ProVia’s Purpose, Vision, Mission and Values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Industrial application requiring excellent cosmetic finish
- Responsible for preparation, fixturing and painting of parts
- Maintenance of spray booth
- Daily maintenance of spray equipment
- Able to work with precision and follow standardized, existing procedures
- Must be able to perform in-process inspection in conformance with existing procedures
- Offers suggestions and improvements to any repeating quality issues
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- This position requires a self-motivated, team-oriented individual with great attention to detail
- Experienced with industrial painting applications
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and non-verbally
- Experienced with paint booth operations and maintenance
- Reading and verbal English communication skills
- Willing and able to follow written and verbal instructions and comply with existing standards and procedures
Physical Demands
Physical activities include bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, pushing, pulling, twisting, and reaching. Repetitive hand-wrist, elbow and shoulder motion required for this position for approximately eight (8) hours or more during the workday. Eyesight capable of performing precision work over long periods of time
