Skilled Maintenance Technician
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Pay Rate: Hourly
Location: Baltic Facility, 600 N. Ray Street, Baltic, Ohio 43804
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM
Job Summary
This position requires a highly motivated and detailed individual with great time management skills to be part of the Maintenance team whose primary responsibilities are the mechanical and electrical maintenance and
repairs of production equipment at the Walnut Creek facility. Candidate is expected to uphold and represent ProVia’s Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Values.
Job Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Able to effectively troubleshoot to find a solution
- Able to follow a schedule for repairs set by the Maintenance Supervisor that will allow production to continue to flow
- Assist other members of the maintenance team with repairs when needed
- Bending and hanging conduit, Make wire runs and connections to equipment
- Install and Repair Electrical and Mechanical Equipment
- Perform any other duties as instructed by leadership.
Job Requirements
Include but are not limited to the following:
- Preferred
- Journeyman Electrician Certification
- PLC Troubleshooting
- CNC Troubleshooting
- HMI
- Servos
- VFD (Variable frequency drives)
- Metal Fabrication/Welding experience
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics

Physical Requirements
This job operates in a manufacturing plant environment. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and lift to 50 pounds. The team member may, at times, sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl (may be in confined spaces). The team member is expected to perform repetitive tasks using their hands and can climb ladders and/or work in high places.
