Job Title: Accounting Manager
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Hybrid, requiring 2 to 3 days in the office
Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager will oversee financial policies, reporting, and controls within the organization. This role is responsible for preparing physician compensation models, forecasts, and activity reports to support the strategic goals of the company. The Accounting Manager will also manage the accounting staff, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and implementation of financial policies and controls.
- Prepare and analyze physician compensation models and financial forecasts.
- Generate activity reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage and mentor accounting staff, ensuring effective hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Monitor financial operations and implement improvements as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Proven track record in financial operations management within a medical environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- CPA or CMA is desirable, but not required.
