Job Title: Operations Manager, Insurance Accounts Receivable (AR)
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Hybrid, requiring 2 to 3 days in the office
Providence Anesthesiology Associates is seeking an experienced Operations Manager, Insurance Accounts Receivable (AR) to oversee the end-to-end AR process, including collections, denial management, appeals, and process improvement, while managing onshore and offshore teams. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Cycle Management, this hybrid role ensures efficient billing operations, compliance, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Billing Operations: Oversee daily billing operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of insurance claims and payments.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of internal and external AR analysts, providing training and performance evaluations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure all billing activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze billing reports to monitor performance trends and identify areas for improvement.
- Customer Service: Address and resolve billing inquiries and issues from clients and insurance companies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as finance and BI, to streamline billing processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance accounts receivable (AR) management.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in project management and overseeing offshore teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage insurance billing and collections processes effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, medical billing systems, and clearinghouses is required.
