What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position at Providence Behavior Therapy?
We are looking for a BCBA to serve pediatric clients in our Northwest Austin office and the surrounding areas. The position can be part-time or full-time, depending on the clinician's experience, willingness to travel, availability and other factors. Pay to commensurate with education and experience. Salary between $75,000-$80,000 for full-time. Part-time salary equivalents or hourly pay are also options. Medical, dental, and vision benefits offered for full-time employees (30 hours per week). PTO and paid holidays offered. CEU support offered.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in mental health counseling, psychology, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or similar field from accredited university
- Certified and in good standing as a behavior analyst (BCBA)
- Licensed and in good standing in the state of Texas as a behavior analyst (LBA)
- BCBA for 2 years
- 3 years of relevant clinical experience in ABA-based therapy
- 2 years of relevant clinical experience with autistic children/adults
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant clinical experience in ABA-based therapy
- 5 years of relevant clinical experience with autistic children/adults
- Experience working with a variety of diagnoses, including ADHD, IDD, ODD, Anxiety, and so on
- Experience working with Deaf/Hard of Hearing community and using American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience supporting clients actively engaging in significant aggressive, destructive, and/or self-injurious behavior
- 2 years experience providing ABA-based therapy in a variety of settings (e.g., school, home, office/clinic, community)
- 2 years experience providing supervision to RBTs and/or BCBAs
- Experience working with a variety of ages, including Autistic adolescents and teens (e.g., 9 year olds-18 year olds)
- Experience providing parent/caregiver support
