Clinical Auditor (RN) in our Surgical Services Department at Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA. This is a full-time position that will work 8-hour day shifts in a role that is administrative.
Performs billing functions. Audits surgery intraoperative records for accuracy of procedures, times, and implant use. Assigns correct acuity and verifies wound class. Compares specimens and diagnosis against procedures. Confirms counts done by appropriate personnel. Notifies nurses where corrections are needed and does follow up review to see that corrections were made. Assists in maintaining Informix relational database. Reports to Surgery Information System Manager and acts as a backup when necessary.

Required Qualifications :
- Upon hire : California Registered Nurse License.
- 1 year Operating Room experience.
