Job Overview:
Providence Classical School is a private school in Rock Hill, SC. We are classical, Christian, and traditional. Providence seeks a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in classical education and a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment based on a Biblical worldview. We are searching for a Middle/High School Science Teacher for the 2025/2026 school year. Our school meets 4 days a week (Tuesday–Friday) from mid-August to mid-May. The teacher work day begins at 7:30 am and ends at 3:45 pm. We are looking for candidates who love students, love learning, love teaching, and love the Lord!
Duties:
- Follow the classical curriculum.
- Create a positive, engaging, Christ-centered learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and education professionals to support student development
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom conducive to learning.
Requirements & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Familiarity with classical education is a plus.
- Proven experience with successful classroom management.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff members.
