We are currently seeking a full-time Recertification I Clerk to join our team, specifically focused on working with seniors. Previous experience in leading and occupancy functions, property management, or loan processing with HUD program guidelines is preferred. The ideal candidate will enhance recertification process, inspections, and voucher rent coordination in a professional and courteous manner.
Providence Community Housing is a 501(c)3 nonprofit affordable housing developer and property manager serving the Greater New Orleans area. With almost 20 years of development experience and over 1,700 residential units developed to date, Providence has taken over the property management functions of Christopher Homes, Inc. and is proud to add their 60-year history of excellence to our team managing over 2,400 senior affordable apartments. We focus on the production and preservation of affordable housing and empowering strong communities.
A typical day in the life of a Recertification I Clerk working with seniors involves all resident recertification processing, paperwork, and inspections including irregular updates to tenant information as needed. This position also assists with various repair and replacement requisitions, move in and move out proceedings, and voucher rent coordination. Every day brings new opportunities to make a positive impact on both residents and staff, creating a safe, welcoming environment for seniors to call home.

This is a full-time position, typically Monday through Friday. While most of your workdays will be during regular business hours, there may be times when you'll need to respond to urgent situations outside of these hours to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.
