Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment to support construction and maintenance projects. Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as dump trucks, backhoes, bulldozers, water trucks, Caterpillars, concrete mixers.
- Perform digging and excavation tasks as required for various projects.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials using loader operation techniques.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery including dump trucks, backhoes, bulldozers, water trucks, Caterpillars, concrete mixers, and cranes is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to dig and perform excavation tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications for specific equipment operation are a plus.
- Commitment to safety practices and procedures in all aspects of work.
