Department Uniform / Dress : The dress code for licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN) is solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire. (Scrub tops may have colored piping.) Print tops are not acceptable attire except for licensed staff in the Children's Hospital (PED, Pedi, PICU, NICU). Women's Services (L&D, Mom / Baby) will meet the requirements for their unit specific scrub attire.
Parking Notes : Free in any unrestricted space, Please park in any of the free surface parking lots with signs that say ‘Employee / Visitor Parking'
Job Requirements
Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or 'Heart&Stroke' certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY. Must check UD to verify certifications required. If no UD is linked, defer to Clinical Tracks.
Current certification issued by an acceptable agency - AAP, AHA or Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS). Must check UD to verify certifications required. If no UD is linked, defer to Clinical Tracks.
