Shift :

Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 16 : 30), Monday to Friday

Guaranteed Hours :

Facility may call off traveler up to 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks)

Experience :

At least 1 year of social work experience with geriatrics in a psychiatric setting and / or short-term acute care inpatient setting

License :

License in-hand required at time of signature

Certifications : Must-Have :

EPIC EMR experience

Case management skills

Job Description :

• Work as a Mental Health Social Worker in a case manager role.
• Provide direct care to an acute population, similar to a community mental health position.
• Conduct suicide and safety assessments.
• Perform crisis triage and assist with diagnosing mental disorders.
• Identify best treatment practices.
• Engage in geriatric or at least adult mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
• Apply short-term treatment methods.
• Reliable transportation is expected and no additional scheduling restrictions are allowed.
• There is no requirement to be on-call.
• Weekend work is not required.
• The role does not require the clinician to float within the facility to meet needs.
• Accepts first-time applicants and local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
• Open to accommodating a block schedule from Monday to Friday.
• Orientation is for 40 hours and is non-billable.
• Modules are non-billable, average 16 hours spent, with over 20 hours requiring prior approval.
• Experience with EPIC charting system required.
• Basic color scrubs attire.
