Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital (JHACH) in St. Petersburg, Florida is recruiting several general pediatricians for our continuity clinic. The Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Pediatric Residency Program is committed to developing leaders in pediatric medicine who will provide exceptional, evidence-based care for the children, families and communities they serve. We are hiring a permanent, part-time pediatrician along with two per-diem pediatricians. Highlights include :
- JHACH is a 259-bed teaching hospital ranked by US News & World Report as a Top 50 Childrens Hospital in 7 pediatric specialties (2023-2024). We were also ranked as the #1 Childrens Hospital in Florida.
- Our ACGME accredited pediatric residency program has 36 residents.
- The permanent part-time schedule consists of 24 hours / week and will include supervision of pediatric residents in the conFtinuity clinic (this position is eligible for benefits).
- The per-diem position will consist of a weekday schedule and will also include supervision of pediatric residents in the continuity clinic.
- The continuity clinic is the principal longitudinal primary care experience for the JHACH pediatric residents.
- The general pediatricians precept up to 3 residents at a time.
- Academic experience is highly desired. A passion for teaching is required.
- The curriculum combines traditional elements of pediatric residency training with innovative and individualized training experiences designed to accelerate professional development.
- Traditional learning is supplemented by simulation through the Center for Medical Simulation and Innovative Education.
