Duties
- Lead and manage nursing staff, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices in patient care.
- Oversee documentation review processes to maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to Medicare standards.
- Implement and monitor assessments to evaluate resident needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure that all staff members are trained in these principles.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care delivery in nursing assisted living.
- Provide guidance on physiology knowledge relevant to patient care, ensuring that nursing practices align with current healthcare standards.
- Conduct regular audits of nursing practices and documentation to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Current LPN license
- Proven experience in a nursing home or assisted living environment is highly desirable.
