Providence House Assisted Living in Brighton, MA currently has an opening for a Part Time Maintenance Assistant.
The Maintenance Assistant performs hands on maintenance work including but not limited to painting, housekeeping, apartment turnover & facilities preventative maintenance. Must have a friendly disposition and be willing and able to assist seniors in their home. Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs, positively interacts with residents, staff, families, and visitors, maintains equipment in good working condition and returns it to proper location after use and reports any damage immediately.

Qualified candidates will have the following:
One -Three years in a maintenance role is preferred
Hands on knowledge and experience with building operations
Experience with the elderly a plus
Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods.
Command of the English language strongly preferred
Significant bending, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 60 pounds.
