TRAINING AND VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

Reports to: Human Resources Manager
Major Functions: Responsible for leading, implementing, and managing the training program for staff and volunteers to ensure compliance with licensing regulations, program quality standards and professional development goals, as well as manage the recruitment, onboarding, and oversight of childcare volunteers to support the Providence House mission.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social work or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of related work experience in education, training, or curriculum coordination preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in developing training protocols and technical materials for training.
- Experience in UKG or other HRIS and LMS systems preferred.
- Skilled trainer with excellent presentation and public speaking skills
- Must be CPR and First Aid Certified Trainer within 90-day probationary employment period
- Obtain Sysco Serv Safe Level 2 certification within 6 months of employment.
- 21 years of age minimum
- Must pass background check, drug screen, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Typical hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Work Environment:
- This job operates in a professional office environment. In order to successfully perform the essential functions of the job, this role routinely uses standard office equipment not limited to but including computers, phones, fax machine, printer/copier/scanner, and surveillance cameras.
