Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pre-K Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing learning environment for young students.
Essential Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans based on the Frog Street curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Provide individualized instruction to meet the needs of each student.
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and creativity.
- Conduct assessments to monitor the student's progression and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and administration to support student's development.
-Good computer knowledge to document TS Gold for students.
Qualifications
-Preferred - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- In lieu of degree; CDA or at least 2 years experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
- Familiar with standardized testing procedures and assessments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
