Key Responsibilities
- Utilize your EMT training to provide immediate and effective patient care and life support.
- Perform thorough assessments of patients to determine their medical needs.
- Collaborate closely with nurses and doctors to ensure seamless and comprehensive care.
- Aid in prioritizing patient treatment based on the severity of condition.
- Accurately record patient information and interventions in medical records and charts.
- Ensure emergency room equipment is in excellent condition and readily available.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
- Basic EMT Training or E.R. experience required.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Current PALS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Certified/Licensed EMT by the state certifying agency/entity required.
