Job Summary
Join our dedicated team as an EVS Specialist. You'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff. You'll be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing wards, rooms, baths, laboratories, and offices, ensuring all areas are orderly and welcoming. You'll mop, dust, wash, polish fixtures, replenish supplies, manage laundry tasks, and organize utility spaces to create a hygienic atmosphere. Maintain Cleanliness: Clean and service all areas of the facility to ensure a hygienic environment. Implement practices that prevent the spread of infection and odors.
Adaptable Worker: Perform routine tasks efficiently, even with frequent interruptions. Follow protocols for handling and disposing of hazardous materials safely.
Equipment Care: Quickly notify maintenance of any repairs needed, from leaking faucets to electrical hazards. Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly cleaned and stored at shift's end.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions, both written and oral.
- Previous cleaning experience preferred.
- Knowledge of common cleaning devices (brooms, mops, scouring pads) and safe handling of cleaning solutions.
- After six months, become eligible for certification as a Certified Environmental Services Technician (CEST) through the Academy of Cleaning Excellence (ACE), with ongoing education requirements.
