Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our dynamic orthopedic clinic. The ideal candidate will aid physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring efficient clinical operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
- Record patient history, vital signs, and orthopedic-specific information.
- Instruct patients on pre- and post-operative care and medication regimens.
- Help in orthopedic procedures, including bandaging, splinting, and wound care.
- Facilitate diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays) and ensure accurate documentation of results.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, including sterilization and inventory management of medical supplies and equipment.
- Schedule patient appointments, manage charts, and update EHR systems with patient information.
- Manage phone inquiries and relay messages to the healthcare team.

Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience
- Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants, Surgical Technologists, or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician clinic setting.
- Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained current.
- Current medical assistant credential from a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Credentialing organization required.
- 1 year experience as a medical assistant in a clinic setting, preferred
