Responsibilities
Saint John Hospital has an opening for a per diem Physical Therapist to join our growing Rehab Team. We are looking for a flexible and dynamic Physical Therapist who has experience working in the acute care hospital setting. As our new Physical Therapist, you will:
- p rovide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services, within scope of practice, in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disorders
- perform responsibilities in accordance with department and hospital policies, state, federal and regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements
- function according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team
- weekdays for outpatient with one day per month on weekends for inpatient
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate Degree in Physical Therapy
- current state Physical Therapy license, or application to KS licensure in progress
- current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- one year of outpatient orthopedic experience, preferred but not required
