Providence Medical Center is looking for full time Maintenance/Plant Engineers to join our growing and dynamic staff! The Maintenance Engineer III duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- maintains accurate logs on all equipment in the hospital
- provides for a safe working environment
- maintains and repairs equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems
- maintains the building and its related systems
- certified and/or licensed in a specific trade that is directly related to healthcare engineering
Education and Work Experience
- five (5) years' experience in a healthcare setting, preferred
- able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints
- ASSE 6040 Medical Gas Systems Maintenance certification, preferred
- certified and/or licensed in a specified trade that is relative to healthcare engineering (Steam Boiler, HVAC, electrical, etc)
- building automation experience, preferred
- valid state driver's license
- high School Diploma or equivalent, required
