Responsibilities
Saint John Hospital (SJH) is seeking a Student Radiologic Technologist in a per diem variable shift role!!! Our Student Rad Tech duties include, but are not limited to:
- performs diagnostic Radiographic procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations
- functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs
- participates in PI/QC activities
- responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING:
- high school diploma or equivalent, required
- enrolled and in good standing in a Radiologic Technology program, required
- current BLS certification (AHA)
- at least 6 months of clinical experience
- proficiency of computer systems to perform patient testing and to retrieve related data to monitor quality
