Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Telemetry
Part-Time, Night Shift
7:00pm-7:00am
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers direct and indirect patient care, ensuring clinical competence within their scope of practice and in accordance with state regulations. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the healthcare team, the Telemetry Nurse contributes to maintaining patient safety, comfort, and overall experience in the telemetry setting.
Key Responsibilities of the LPN:
- Consistently use two patient identifiers when drawing labs, administering medications, or performing procedures.
- Adhere to medication policies, including medication reconciliation procedures.
- Prioritize patient care based on essential needs and available resources, including time, equipment, and personnel.
- Understand and collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to enhance patient care.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state license
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. IV certification upon hire (state specific)
