Job Description
Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Specialty : Nuclear Medicine / PETCT
Job Duration : 13 Weeks
Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (08 : 00 - 18 : 30)
Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
Experience : Minimum 1 year
License : Valid California license required
Certifications : BLS, ARRT (N) or NMTCB; CT Advanced Certification preferred
Must-Have : Willingness to float between facilities and units
Job Description :
- Start time varies between 07 : 00 and 08 : 00.
- No weekend shifts required.
- First-time professionals accepted.
- On-call is not required but can be requested.
- Travelers must be open to floating between facilities within the area.
- May need to float between affiliated hospitals for coverage.
- Willingness to accommodate block scheduling is at the discretion of the manager.
- Facility requires completion of 16 hours of non-billable modules pre-start and annually. Completion is self-reported.
- Orientation consists of 40 non-billable hours.
- Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty / setting required.
