Job Details
Providence will be strictly enforcing the policy for NO artificial nails as well as nail length cannot extend more than 2mm beyond the end of the finger. Please make sure you are following this protocol as they will be monitoring this closely.
Line draws, and IV site maintenance are skills are required.
Those submitted at Mission Viejo must also be submitted to Providence Mission Hospital Laguna Beach as they are required to float to this location.
WINTER NEEDS - We are Increasing headcount in anticipation of cold / flu season, based on historical data and recent trends. Please ensure clinicians are aware that demand will pick up soon and if they clear early, to remain engaged and patient. They should have notifications turned on.
Proof of flu vaccination or declination required. Any clinicians with signed declination must wear a mask for the entirety of their shift. Clinician's that fail to comply will be sent home.
Providence will NOT be reviewing / approving any clinicians with background or license hits. Please keep this in mind while submitting applicants.
Job Requirements
1 years of experience. Recent experience in specialty
ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS
Float to less or like specialties where needed and qualified
EPIC experience required (no training provided)
General Emergency Department-Combined Adult / Pedi
Interpretation of dysrhythmias
Management of dysrhythmias
Blood Product Administration
Central line care / management
Starting IVs
ICP monitoring
Isolation Precautions
Triage
Schedule Information
12-hour shifts

Orientation Details : There are no orientations for this position, please make sure candidates are comfortable working at any and all facilities listed without prior training.

Charting system : Epic
1 yr separation : Previous candidates must be approved by ministry before moving forward
