Our holistic programs address complex physical, emotional, spiritual, and economic needs through a unique community model that combines professional services in a home-like environment with 24/7 live-in staff support.

THE JOB
Interested in fundraising? The Development Specialist (DS) is a great outward facing entry-level opportunity for a highly relational individual who believes in Providence Network’s mission. You’ll engage with a wide range of current and potential supporters of Providence Network to foster their knowledge, engagement, and financial giving.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and grow a portfolio of donor accounts supporting our mission.
- Carry out intentional donor touchpoints and development process, including identification, qualification, cultivation, invitation, and stewardship.
- Educate and invite donors to consider retirement and planned giving strategies.
- Collaborate with admin and program to communicate needs and tell impact stories.
- Assist in development’s annual giving strategy, including multi-channel marketing efforts, content creation, and social media promotion.
- Leverage Virtuous CRM Software to improve personal and automated engagement.
- Conduct gatherings, meals, coffees, on-site tours, phone-calls, and other donor moves.
- Promote and educate communities, churches, and organizations about our work.
- Participate in team meetings, provide status updates, and offer ideas and solutions.
- Other duties as assigned.
ATTRIBUTES & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree and sales or fundraising background helpful.
- Degree or certification in fundraising preferred (CFRE, CFRM, CFRL).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Genuine and relational, self starter, detail oriented, executes well.
- Winsome professional with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the Development team.
- Proficient in Google Workspace applications and Microsoft Office.
- Preferred skill in Virtuous CRM, social media platforms, and Canva.
- Personal dedication to the organization's mission and values.
- Strong commitment to Providence Network’s Statement of Faith
HOURS
Full time 40 hours/week (some flexible schedule and hybrid work options)
SALARY
$45,000 - $60,000
BENEFITS valued at approximately $16,000
