Job Title : EEG Technician

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (07 : 30 - 18 : 00)

License : State license required, submission possible with pending license

Certifications : ABRET Certification required

Must-Have : Epic charting experience required

Job Description :

• The position may float between units and to affiliate hospitals nearby.
• On-call work is required, with approximately 4 on-call shifts per month.
• Candidates are not required to work weekends.
• Block schedules are not required.
• Scrub color for all : Any color. OR / L&D : uniforms provided. Micro Bio Tech : business-appropriate street clothes (lab coat provided). MLT : any color scrubs or business casual.
• Orientation includes 40 non-billable hours.
• Modules required pre-start and annually, average 16 hours; over 20 hours requires approval.
• Candidates must work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
• Travelers are expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and / or forfeiture of hours.
• Clients provide necessary communication devices for the assignment.
• Requires two supervisory references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty / setting.
