The Clinical Staff Supervisor plays a vital role in coordinating and managing the clinical support staff and workflows within the clinic. As an integral member of the clinic leadership team, this individual brings a professional nursing perspective to the group and upholds the standards of nursing practice.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the care provided by clinical support staff, initiating quality improvement efforts, leading clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care services, and ensuring compliance with established clinic policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage clinical support staff and workflows effectively.
- Oversee care provided by clinical support staff and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead clinical staff to deliver excellent patient care services.
- Ensure adherence to clinic policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field is preferred, but not required.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- Three years of direct patient care experience, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
- One year of supervisory experience, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
- Clinical experience in triage principles and patient assessment.
- Experience delegating nursing responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
