About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Perinatal Care Provider to join our team at Providence Seaside Hospital. As a vital member of our nursing staff, you will play a critical role in supporting the health and well-being of expectant mothers and their babies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality perinatal care to patients, addressing their physical and emotional needs throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective care plans that prioritize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Conduct thorough assessments, identifying potential complications and taking proactive steps to prevent or address them.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, ensuring seamless communication with colleagues and medical staff.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in perinatal nursing, with a strong focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, prioritizing patient care and well-being above all else.
• Active Oregon Registered Nurse License, National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification, and National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics certification within 90 days of hire.
