Nurse Practitioner - Labor and Delivery Specialist

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Labor and Delivery department at Providence Seaside Hospital.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

• Work Schedule: 7pm-7:30am, 3 days per week (12-hour shifts) with rotating weekends.
• Job Summary: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery department, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for childbirth and postpartum recovery.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Skills: Administer medications, perform assessments, and develop individualized care plans for patients.
• Communication: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn nurturing techniques.
