Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled RN to join our team in the Recovery Room at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center. As a nurse in this role, you will work with patients recovering from surgical procedures, providing individualized care and support to ensure a smooth transition back to their normal activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Care for patients recovering from surgery, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs and providing wound care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans that address physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding post-operative care and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including assessment data, interventions and outcomes.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A current Oregon RN license or eligibility for licensure.
- A minimum of one year of experience as an RN in an acute care setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in pediatric and adult critical care nursing.
- The ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and interdisciplinary teams.
