We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Seaside Hospital. As a member of our Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) team, you will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
The successful candidate will have a passion for maternal-child healthcare, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a related setting, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting. They should also have a current Oregon Registered Nurse License and National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics certification within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities may include:
Providing direct patient care to mothers and newborns, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various conditions
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educating patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
Participating in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
