Job Summary:
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) department at Providence Seaside Hospital. The RN will provide patient care and support to women during their childbirth experience.

The LDRP department is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where the RN will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' unique needs and preferences.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians or other licensed healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient information, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
- One (1) year Nursing experience.
